About
🔷 Target Audience: Spouses, parents, partners, siblings, adult children, friends, and close caregivers of veterans and first responders (police, EMTs, firefighters, dispatchers) Support group facilitators, nonprofit staff, or therapists who work with loved ones of these populations 🔷 Course Description: This self-paced course equips loved ones of veterans and first responders with trauma-informed tools to strengthen relationships, communicate with more compassion, and reduce unintentional harm. You’ll learn what trauma really looks like behind the scenes, how systems shape silence and suffering, and how to show up as an ally—even when you're exhausted yourself. We break down common language patterns that harm, offer simple alternatives that de-escalate, and provide validation for the invisible toll of caring for someone with duty-related trauma.
